I know this beautiful mama as she used to teach my son so I was overjoyed when she contacted me to do maternity and newborn photos!

The weather in Calgary at the time was still a bit unpredictable so we did the session indoors. I don’t have a huge selection of backdrops for maternity photos but I do have blue, green, cream, grey and pink. I hope to add more to my collection this year!

Most people get newborn photos done, possibly a 6 month milestone session and then one year photos like a cake smash. After that however the photos drop off. Don’t let that happen! All ages are so cute to capture and go by so fast. It is never too late to photograph your family or little ones!

I wasn’t even sure if I would do fall minis this year but am sure glad I did. I suppose the reason for my hesitation is the unpredictable weather in Calgary. Luckily the weather this fall was unbelievably warm and gorgeous.
