It is hard enough some days to decide what to wear to work never mind selecting outfits for your entire family for a photo shoot!

What you wear isn’t the most important thing in the world, but I can’t lie, it does make a big difference in the outcome of the photos.

How time flies when you’re having fun! This session was done a few months ago but it’s too good not to share.

This baby’s mama contacted me with a specific vision in mind that she had seen online from another photographer. Since none of my backdrops suited this theme she opted for a custom cake smash!

This cake smash was so great to witness lol. He fully enjoyed the whole experience and the facial expressions are priceless!

January is already behind us and I got to start off the new year with many adorable cake smashes! Every day I am so grateful to my job and the families to choose me to capture their memories. This cake smash took place in my cozy Calgary photo studio in Somerset.

Technically cake smashes do not come with family photos but I don’t mind if parents hop in for a few photos! This ads some lovely variety to the gallery. We don’t want to spend too much time on family photos to avoid using too much of the baby’s energy and patience before the cake smash.

This little princess is only 2 weeks old! She slept very well during the session and her parents are very much in love with their new little blessing. They wanted a mix of pink and rich wine colours for their baby girl and the colours are just gorgeous on her.
