Adorable bunny custom cake smash
How time flies when you’re having fun! This session was done a few months ago but it’s too good not to share.
This baby’s mama contacted me with a specific vision in mind that she had seen online from another photographer. Since none of my backdrops suited this theme she opted for a custom cake smash!
I used one of my sweep backdrops for this photo shoot. Sweep backdrops are fabric and 8X12 feet so they cover the floor and the background. These can be used for family sessions or maternity since they are the only backdrops I have that can accommodate adults, however they can also be used for cake smashes! I put my clear acrylic surface over the ground portion which protects the fabric and also provides a lovely reflection that helps accentuate the fairy lights.
Off to the store I went in search of the perfect bunnies and flowers! Putting together a set myself is always fun since I get my creative juices flowing.
I think the end result is amazing! I always caution people when providing a photo another photographer took that my work won’t be exactly the same. Every photographer has their own style but I also don’t want to copy another photographer, however having a photo to gather some inspiration from is always helpful!
