Booking Information

Newborn sessions are best scheduled within 7–21 days of birth. Booking early ensures availability. Please book for your due date and be sure to have someone contact me the day baby arrives so I can adjust your appointment to that ideal time frame.

To reserve your due‑date window: A signed contract + $50 retainer is required.

You can view the newborn outfits, headbands and backdrops before your session.

A few important notes:

  • Sessions are baby led, I don’t force any specific pose. Most babies love to be wrapped as they feel warm and secure. Some babies do not like to be on their tummies.

  • If you have other other children coming to the session to be photographed we will photograph them first and then a second adult will need to take them either back home or out in the community. My studio is small and cozy, newborn sessions can last 3+ hours so small children may become bored if they are confined to the studio space.

  • After you book and send your deposit I will send the newborn information sheet, please read that carefully before your session. At this time we can also discuss what colours you would like and any ideas you have for your special session.

  • My studio is located in Calgary, Alberta in Somerset. I am in the far south of Calgary about 5 minutes of Macleod Trail SW.
