It has been a while since I did an indoor photo shoot, in fact since the pandemic was declared I have only done two. My preference since May has been to have the photo sessions outdoors in Calgary to keep everyone comfortable and safe. This little love however was a pleasure to photograph and not as tricky as I anticipated.

A mini session is when a photographer does a whole bunch of short photoshoots on the same day, for a great price.

It’s a perfect way for someone to get to know the photographer and the photographers style without committing to a full photography session.

This beautiful little family contacted me for a maternity shoot and we decided to do it in Fish Creek Park at the Bow Valley Ranch location.

The Bow Valley Ranch location is nice because there is a lot of grassy areas, some little bridges, and paths. There is also the Bow Valley Ranch restaurant, and some barn-like buildings that are really nice. I guess that is why it’s a really popular location for photographers!
